Singapore Coffee Festival 9 - 12 Jun 2016

By Thursday, June 09, 2016 , ,

Gonna be kept awake all weekend because it's the first Singapore Coffee Festival (SCF) 2016! From today till 12 June at the F1 Pit Building, coffee lovers and industry movers and shakers can look forward to the exciting activities at SCF with over 100 exhibitors from the coffee and café industry sharing insights over many cuppa of joe.
Experience the vibrant local coffee scene at the SCF with names like Chye Seng Huat Hardware, Common Man Coffee Roasters, Smitten Specialty Coffee, Royz Et Vous, Knockhouse Supply Co, Dapper Coffee, Killiney Kopitiam, Oriole Coffee + Bar and many more
DRINK
Of course what is a coffee festival without lots of coffee and food right? CSHH and their Kopi C ice cream; Dapper Coffee and their experimental drinks like Earl Grey Yuan-Yang; Slayer Coffee and their rare Sweet Potato Latte; KUVO and their caffeine martinis; Oriole Cafe and their Taisho Cold Brew plus that DEATH CREAM!
Don't want coffee? There's also beer. ;)
EAT
Of course we need to line our tummies (coffee is my alcohol) with food and there is plenty to eat!
House of Robert Timms with their Australian bites; Common Man Coffee Roasters’ miniature cafe will be serving their signature menu favourites.
Need a heavier meal? Check out Hungry Heroes’ banging burgers; Curbside Café coffee infused dishes; The Tuckshop; Wheelys Cafe etc.
How about sweets you say? Fret  not. My favorite bakers from Two Bakers are setting up shop at SCF too! Do not miss their Key Lime tart and Mount Fuji!
Or Hatter Street and their crispy waffles; PAUL and its taste of France with their fancy breads, viennoiserie pastries, cakes, desserts, snacks and sandwiches. Or if you are the Kopi Kaya Roti sort, head over to Killiney Kopitiam

Shiseido (SCF’s “Official Beauty Partner”) is also bringing The Shiseido Parlour, a beauty pop up area where festival visitors will be served special confectionery and tea flown from Ginza, Japan! Keep your eyes peeled for the Shiseido Parlour Cheese cake and Ganache.
Hydrate and recharge with HICJUICE in between your espresso-macchiato-flat white-cold brew. HICJUICE is also serving up superbowls, superfood snacks and raw vegan ice-cream!

PRO-TIP #1 to prevent any HANGRINESS: Download cutQ app this weekend so you don't have to Q. Browse menus on your mobile, order, pay and pick up with ease. Plus you get $1 off #SGCoffeeFest purchases when you download cutQ SG!

Chill out to great music by the latest up and coming local talents in Singapore. There will be two music stages at the festival that will showcase the hottest local acts, curated by festival creative consultant Daniel Boey.

SHOP
Of course some retail therapy must be prescribed. Bring home some KeepCups to go with your new toys from Stellar M, a retailer for domestic and commercial coffee equipment. For the ladies, while you enjoy the Japanese confectioneries at Shiseido, you can also bring home their Ibuki skin care range.

LEARN
If you are a serious coffee drinker and want to learn more about the men, machines, and methods behind each cup, then make sure you head over to the Coffee Labs for their workshops. Better Barista (BB) will be hosting a series of panel forum sessions and Common Man Coffee Roasters will be conducting classroom and practical sessions on perfecting your cuppa.
What are you waiting for? Time to get tickets if you haven't! Tickets are only available for sale at the door now. Tickets are priced at $18/$38(VIP with fast track entry and VIP lounge) per day. There are also 3-day passes available.

PRO-TIP  #2 Ride in style to SCF 2016 with GrabCar. Tag your destination or pickup point as Singapore Coffee Festival AND use the promo code 'SCF' to get $3 off your GrabCar ride from 9 - 12 June.
